Lahore: PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal made an offer to Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to details, speaking on a program on a private TV channel, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that when this government was brought to power in 2018, the stand was very strong that we should not go to the assemblies and boycott from day one. The major parties PML-N and PPP said that we do not want to create a crisis in the country.
PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal made a big offer to Prime Minister Imran Khan and also gave a message to the institutions.
This government has come by rigging, they make big claims that we have done the homework for twenty years, we have a world-class team, we thought that if they do a good job it will be good for the country, Therefore, they should be given a chance. But you see, in less than two and a half years, they have turned the economy from brick to brick, and with it, they have polarized the politics of the country by allowing the opposition to be part of this democratic system. He refused.
Imran Khan has never sat with the national leadership. He gave Kashmir to India. There is no friendly country with Pakistan today. All the democratic parties in the country believe that before the situation becomes more complicated and difficult to handle, so giving them more time now means creating more problems for the people. Ahsan Iqbal said that when the long march will come if the government is ready for new elections in view of this pressure, the Prime Minister resigns, dissolves the assemblies and says that we are moving towards a new solution, then it is welcome. But if the prime minister does not resign, the opposition may resign.
If the government does not understand and the opposition resigns, the government will eventually have to go home and pave the way for new elections. “Now is the time for all state institutions and stakeholders to sit down and reconsider their conduct. Let us run this country as a normal country,” he said. Institutions in the country that play with the authority of others more than their own authority should be shut down.
